Our flagship: The typical Sorrento citrus grove

Massa Lubrense, the setting of our traditional citrus grove, has always been famous as the Land of the Sirens, but above all, as a land of lemons. The lemon ‘garden’( so called in our area for lemon groves), at our farm, extends for two hectares and the lemons (also called "femminiello) are cultivated here. There are also oranges and mandarins.

The cultivation of lemons in our area was historically characterized by the adoption of pergolas made of chestnut wood and used to protect the plants during the winter months, and also the use of a cover made with straw and the frame constructed with chestnut sticks "chierchiere" and straw harvested by hand .

We love tradition

In the last decade, due to the shortage of labourers and the high-priced cost of the materials, the pergolas have been replaced in many citrus groves, with semi-metallic structures which sometimes can have catastrophic environmental impact. Our business instead, like a few others, have a love for tradition that distinguishes us and strongly motivates us to maintain the original features.
